Disc Read Error
I'm having a problem with my PS2, whenever I put any CD in it and try to play, it says "Disc Read Error" with all types of CD's, i.e. PS2 games, PS games, DVDs & CDs, in every case I got the same message. If anyone knows how to fix this, your help would be greatly appreciated.

umfortunatly u need a new laser unit, u can try a cd/dvd cleaning disk but chances are its the unit that needs replacing

I'm with elkayps2 on this.... If your unit will not play anything... Originals or backups or DVD's..... Then your laser has died.
