hp9510 and clone cd

i am trying to copy final fantasy 9 with clone cd i have a hp 9510 when i tried a cdrw it burned it successfully but when iuse cd-r it stops at 7%
is there any problem with cd-r ...I us parrot 650mb disks i try to write them at 2x speed

This same thing happend to me (I've posted this here recently). I've got a 9103 (I think) and I can burn CD-RW images all day long. Stick in a CD-R and it coasters around 5-7%, right when it finishes the Leanln and starts the image. My solution?? (see post above), slowed the burn down. I took it off Max Burn and down to 4X and it worked fine. I'm guessing it's because CD-R's automatically burn faster and CD-RW's are slower. Pain in the ass, but it works.
