Unhappy A problem

I bought one of those "Gold Finger" Cheat cards a while ago soley for cheating, until I found out recently that I can use it for playing imports/backups. Well, I was fooling around with it and pressed "Select + L1", and a message came up asking if I wanted to change to PAL mode. I figured this was for playing imports and presssed OK. The screen flashed and went black. Now, my card doesn't work (I realize now that it changes PSX support to PAL), my PSX works fine without it, but the code-card doesn't work at all. Any way I can fix this without spending anymore money??

Ha Ha Ha - you switched your NTSC to a PAL format!!! NOws the fun part, you have to figure out while it's rolling wether you have to push up or down to switch it back to NTSC!!!! I had to do this for a local store that received a bunch of Goldfingers all set up for PAL instead of NTSC, I'll see if I kept written down the procedure, Otherwise I'll have to go Play with mine to figure it out!!

Ureka!!

To bring Goldfinger out of PAL

PRESS:

L1 + select
then push up on directional pad
press (circle)

L1 + select brings up the NTSC/PAL menu,
pushing up on the D-pad highlights NTSC,
pushing circle ok's and changes it to NTSC.

I decided to hang on to this in case I would need to remember it, it's a pain to figure out while the screen is rolling!!

damnit

I tried the advice, but it didn't do anything. You mention in your post of the screen being all wobbly and shakey, for me it's just a blank black screen. I pressed L1+Select, as told, then pressed up and then O, and it didn't switch back. Any other suggestions would be great.
