I have a big problem. When I try to run a game from an orignal CD it acts like a copy and will not run. The only way I found to get around it is to run a crack.
Is there any thing else I can do? Thank you!!! |

Update or remove all emulation software such as Daemon Tools, Insektors, Playbackup etc.
It's likely that these pieces of software have been blacklisted by the copy protectors. So if they are found on your system then the game won't run even if it's an original - insane! The copy protectors and the authors of the emulation software are in a constant cat and mouse battle - once the software is blacklisted, the authors just change a little but of code or a few files to get round the blacklisting. So keep your software up to date. If that doesn't help then it could be old hardware not able to read the game due to the copy protection.
