Question Anyone backup a PS2 DVD game on a Mac w/ a superdrive?

I'm going to get a new model iMac with the superdrive cdrw/dvdr drive. Will I be able to use it to backup PS2 games with it, or should I look into getting a dvdr drive for my PC for this?

Thanks!
