trying to backup B&W w/ clonecd

I'm using a Toshiba CD-ROM to read in the image. After 20 mins at 1x I'm only at 2%. I keep getting these "failed to read sector ####" ..is that normal?

I'm using the following settings in cloneCD v3.0.0.8 ..read both subchannel(data/audio), fast error skip(5/none), etc.

I've never actually made a backup of original CD before so I'm not sure if I'm doing it right.

burnerchief
step1 :get version 3009
step2:reading speed 4x
step3:fast errorskip on 5 retrie's
you get read errors from about 800 thru +/-12000
that can take an hour or more if its finished burn it straight all off try max speed
you need a burner thats inside a philips ex. acer etc.

have self toshb.xm6702b and acer 1208a

the copies are real 1-1

i would not use cloneCD. i copied the game this way:
1. install the game
2. use a no-cd-crack
3.extrackt the B&W-registry informatins (about 4 entries)
4. burn it!! (perhaps you must ZIP the files!)

that worx
