Does anyone know how to make a backup up of a cd with the crack on it.
I have tried copying the CD to a tempory folder on my hard disk, copying the crack into the folder then making a data CD of it but the CDR won't work Thanks |

This is the correct method. Remember to label the cd correctly.
What error/problem are you having?

gh0st: I was wondering when I was making a few backups a few days ago, but I see that in WinXp, when I pop in a CD and open up My Computer, the lable of the CD is all in caps, but if I open up My Computer with the same CD in Win 98, it has upper and lower case lettering on the original cd. So riddle me this, when I make up the backup CD and use all caps for the lableling, will that cause problems if the original CD isn't all caps, but a combination of upper and lower case lettering?

Which game? What crack is that? Fixed .exe or Nocd?
For the label, you gotta make sure that it's the same as the original cd. Btw, not much games are checking the label when installing... which means you can even setup from hard disk... then get a nocd to play with it... Regarding caps... i think it's the ISO setting... especially the Character Set, Joliet... Go get a IsoBuster to check the cd content! |
