Talking newbbie needs help

hi everyone i got a ps2 console with a modchip , and i was wondering how do i do backup copies to my ps2 games, can someone recommend a good guide for a newbie and what tools i need.
and if i need to split the game in order to put them on two cd s
how do i do that

DVD-Rom's you need to split into single Cd-R or multiple Cd-R's and only several games out there can be done..
My advice is it's not worth the time. CD rips tends to cut stuff out of the game..Intro,Ending extra's and you need to downsample the Game..It's not worth it..

DVD ripping can make a very good game. I just ripped Sky Gunner and all I took out was the Intro movie and ending credits. The rest of the game is there. It was a ***** to do though. Finding dvd checks was a nightmare until I found a brand spanking new program that does it for you.

ok thanks for the answers
if i buy a dvd burnner how can i make a back up copy of my games then, and here in sweden the blank dvd s are expensive,
but i have thought of buying a dvd burnner , can you tell me wich burnners are any good to buy , and many thanks again
