long reads are corrected by fastdump with daemon tools. the sims should not take 3 hours to read, as its safedisc 1. the only thing you need to defeat it is a RAW capable reader/writer. no problem. SEARCH.

actually it depends on ur reader
if u have my reader itll take u 2-3 hours

if u have a reader that does safe disc fast then it might take shorter

all readers ahve different safe disc reading times
some dont evebn read safedisc

have you tried fastdump? i dont think you have. all readers do have different read times, but 3 hours is less that 1x. thats SLOW. fastdump should improve times to under 10 minutes for a full speed read.

This Shit sucks! ehehehehe lol! I got the LG CDR 8X and LG DVD player, the read speed is less than 500kb, someshit like 0,11 and i wasnt "haapy" enought to wait 2 hours. Have you done this before? Your recorded CD worked?

keep going!

I presume you are using your dvd for the reading of the disc?
Well if so the lg reader is not really cdclone compatable as it does not read the disc contents very well,Lite-on and toshiba are about the best for cdclone.
Another problem could be that you are attempting to read the disc to fast,(as in the latest cdclone version there is not a option to reduce the read speed) and with the drive not being able to analize the data at that speed in automatically slows its self down to try and get a correct image.
Get yourself clony xxl detection program and it will automatically pass on the parameters to clone if you start it up from this proggy, then yuo should be able to reduce the read speed to a acceptable level say max 4x and write at the same.

you install the game, and then run the cd. this kicks in the safedisc, so that it recognizes it as an original, and then daemon's fastdump can be used along with clonecd to dump the image to hard drive, without the typical safedisc slowdown. this is how i understand it, i havent had to do it yet, because safedisc reads fine for me, but it does work.

You should also enable "fast error skip" during read.
