Question ps2 and dvd backups

hello all, as a newie to ps2 and dvd back ups
in pose this much asked question! what is the best software to use for my quest??? if someone out there can please tell me this and the possible settings to use with various software. currently im using pioneer do4, lite on 40x, have clone v 4, clony xxl, prassie, nero (latest) cdrwin 3.9 and some others, ive tried to back up after patching but to no avail, pc wont read disk and froze!! any ideas?? wot is the best media to use?? , here's a one for you!! when i tried to back up a dvd to vcd using dup dvd it only asked for disk one so i only got half a film, how funny was that!! i would be really grateful for any help re above and for any info re anything to do with this topic ie sites etc,

You can use Prassi for dvd backup of ps2 games. Or you can use Stomp Record Now Max. I have tested both and like Stomp myself.

Dup DVD sucks. I dont know if you paid for it or not but it only copies 30min of any dvd to vcd.

the version of dup-dvd that u download only does the first 1/3 of a disc, u have to pay for the full thing before it'll do a full movie.

That's what they say anyway
