I am getting a NEO KEY USB mod installed and I was told you need version 1 gameshark. Is that true? If so, how do I tell what version gameshark I have? THANKS

Thanks...that is good news because I THINK my Gameshark is ver. 2. Thanks for taking the time to reply to my post. One more question...are there any things I should look out for with this mod? Like booting problems or anything like that? Thanks again!

Unhappy

Really?? I searched this forum for NEO KEY Mod chip and didn't find too much about that. What is the alternative? What would I have to do to play DVD back-ups? (Other than buy the Messiah) I wanted the Messiah but could not find someone to install it. Sorry if this has been asked before but is there still a way to play my backed up DVD's using NEO KEY USB Mod? Thanks again!!

TylerDurden is on a distinguished road
Send a message via AIM to TylerDurden
Get a Neo2.2 pro or if you have a v4-6 ps2 then get the Neo2.6. That way you can play anything you want.

Tyler!

I don't have a Neo Key, I have the No Solder chip. Th No Solder chip boots everything except DVD-rips over 630 MB which can be easily downsized under that.

I read that people get both chips and use the No Solder chip for DVD-R

you either need the Version 4 or Version 5-6 No Solder, which ever one you have
