Need advise on burning software...

hey, i need some help, i'm getting a burner for christmas a craetive 8/4/32 blaster. I know how to burn stuff so im not a total newbie, but i need some advice on what software i should get. i'll mostly be making music cd's, mp3 cd's, burning pc and psx games, and backing files up some of the time, if anyone can suggest something plz do. thanx.

I give everyone this advice goe to www.cdrdownloads.ic24.net/ their you will find most of the software that you can use for making backups of your cds.Hope this helps.And Remember if you can help others "Do so Let's all work together to make this world a better place!".

use CloneCD for pc games, CDRWin for psx, Adaptec for mp3's. This is the stuff thats worked for me. CloneCD just made backups of NOLF and its got safedisc2 protection.And Adaptec although otherwise almost useless, is good for mp3 and wav to cd, and even some data.From what everyone says Nero is also good but I haven't used it yet. P.S. CloneCD will only work if your hardware is supported.....if cd-rom to cd-rw doesn't work try reading and writing from the cd-rw. HOPE this helps

Have just read somewhere that cloneCD isnt going to be the best backup software much longer. These are Safedisk 2 and also CDprotector v4.00. Both of these after reading and being told by someone who has read about them online as well (even though they are not available just yet) are going to wipe the floor with cloneCD. Well lets wait and see what happens shall we.
