Patching ps2 games???

hi guys,
really hoping someone can help me here... i have the bin file and when i try and use addzer0 to patch it into an iso file it doesn't start... 5 secs later i press ctrl alt del, and the program isn't responding!!!
how can i patch the file... is there any other way thats not too complicated??
i apreciate any help
