dvd-r media

i got my pioneer 104 drive a week ago & i've been shopping around for some dvd media. those things are type expensive, or is it just me?

the memorex are 3 for 25 bucks, and the no name brand "great quality" brand are 5 for 30 bucks.

anyone know where i can get some cheaper. maybe some verbatim or something that'll be able to play on some v5 ps2s?

i have m8 in usa he gets apple dvdr (2x write) 5 for $19
he gets them from major store
