can my burner copy safedisc games?

I am not exactly sure, but it is a Diamond Data (Mitsubishi) 40x16x10 drive.
When I try to copy a protected game it says Failed to read sector xxxx but I tried the safedisc copy test and it worked fine.
Can anyone help?

Look here - http://elby.ch/english/products/clon...tml#Mitsubishi
You want one sheep in the EFM column to copy Safedisk 2.4 and below, and two sheep to copy all versions.

I'm not sure if "Diamond Data 8432A-158" is your correct model number, if it is then it may not copy it. But I'm guessing that this isn't your model as you say you passed the SD test.

The read errors are entirely normal (sectors 800-10000) - this is the protection. Use the settings from Clony XXL in Clone CD, try with AWS and without AWS, and enable Hide CD-R Media in the Clone CD Tray when playing from a burner.

Oh, now i see
but when I copy a protected game to an image, it takes a REALLY long time to read it to the HDD, the speed drops below 1x and ends up to about 15kb a second. Will the game still work without a crack or patch?

But i thought the burner had to read the bad sectors, I get this message:
I 12:17:41 AM Reading Track 1... (Blocks 0-293766)
W 12:17:53 AM Failed to read Sector 817
W 12:17:55 AM Failed to read Sector 822
W 12:18:01 AM Failed to read Sector 839
W 12:18:04 AM Failed to read Sector 844

So those "failed to read sector xxx" are fine? Because I thought the drive had to read them.

If it takes too long for your drive, then try using Daemon Tool's Fast Dump feature to read the image.

The failed to read sector xxxx is fine and normal.

Deamon Tools is a different program altogether- it is able to emulate cd protections. It has a feature called Fast Dump that may help you reading the cd quicker.
Get it here:
