Gothic 3 1.12 no-dvd patch(euro)

Hello guys, i'm new here so i greet you.

I will start by saying that i own an original Gothic 3 DVD and i would like to find a no dvd patch in order to keep my DVD unscratched PLUS in order to decrease the loading times since tages prot. system makes 2(!!!!) CD checks every single time that you load a save - effectively adding around 40 secs of loading!

I keep hearing bad stuff about nodvd patches for G3.. they say that it further decreases the performance and increases the chances for crashes etc they say it has to do with tages..
I would love it if someone gives me a link for a no-dvd patch 1.12(europe) and please explain this performance rumors and if they are real.

Despite its performance issues and of course being a forced release(feels like alpha to me..) G3 is a great game in my opinion.

Actually the only working No-DVD is from Razor 1911 and it's available on GCW. The performance issues were from the poor release. The team who made the beta test had TWO WEEKS for testing. For a game as big as Gothic3 this wasn't much. So the game came out more like a beta thab a final version. Had its share of patches since release and v1.12 solved a lot of those performance issues.
And yes the game would have been great if they would've made a proper release.
The game also has some high system requirements. Though the developpers are saying that the game works on a P4 at 2Ghz, with 512Mb RAM and a ATI X300(NvidiaFX5900), the ugly truth is that you need a P4 at 3ghz with 2gb RAM and a minimum of ATI X1650(Nvidia 7600) for the game to work well on the medium detail. For a smooth play you would need an ATI X1950 or a Nvidia 7950 videocard(or even better an Nvidia 8800).

My pc is brand new:
Core2duo e6600,intel mobo 965, 2gb ram ddr2(kingston) ATI x1950xtx.. and i can't say that i'm satisfied with the FPS at HIGH settings .. i guess it's just the game and not my system that results in the bad performance(especially in myrtana towns)

Especially the snartheap and where is the guru errors are getting on my nerves..anyway.

So the nodvd patch will not cause any other problems right?

The No-DVD won't cause problems. The v1.12 cracked by Razor1911 is flawless. I'd wish to say that about the game too, but sadly I can't.
You have a good system there, but the only card that managed fine Gothic3 was the Nvidia GeForce8800GTX(the762Mb video memory version).
Arghhhh...I think only Test Drive Unlimited managed to approach the bugginess record and the poor optimization of G3.
