need to know what proper fix to apply to half life 2.
I have a version of half life 2 that has says offline proper no steam. It's around 3 gigs or so and I've played it on my computer but it doesn't work on my friends computer. I read that you have to be online to play half life 2 but I never thought about it because I have DSL but my friend has 56k. I gave him a copy of it and when he clicks on the single player offline shortcut the games loads up but after picking new game the game exits and says connection to "stream server lost". What fix/patches do I need to apply? thanks.
