Using Black Cd-rs (Memorex) to burn PSX games

Anyone have any experience with this and know if it works? Ive been trying and I burned one copy of Einhander, but it didnt work and I can figure out if its the burning software thats messed or the cd or something else. Any infO?

If you are hoping it will work without a modchip the answer is no, Black cd-r's i have used in the past were of poor quality, better to buy verbatim data life plus.

No, of course not, I have a mod-chip, I just wanna know what the word is on these black cd-rs, in terms of using them to burn PSX games...to play obviously. (I HAVE heard that they are not good for PS2 burning)

Well if your gonna use a PSone then feel free. But like Warlock says, some of the ones he's used have been poor quality.

Anyways, psone lasers are easier to replace. But are they worth replacing, thats the question.

No no, I have a PS1, the old classic version, not the new mini-me sized one. So Im assuming it has a good laser. Thanks for the info, but no one has ever tried to burn using Black Cd-r's yet for PSX?
