Splinter Cell 2 v1.03 NO-CD

Hi to everyone!

As you know, Ubisoft released the 1.03 Patch the last two weeks and in all these two weeks after it I was waiting for a noCD until now. So, don't critisize me, that I can't wait, I WAS waiting long enough . Back to topic: All the weeks I never found one on GCW or Megagames. If you have a NOCD, plz tell me where you got it from or IF there already exists a NOCD.

I thank you

Hi Dyreo,

Unfortunately, requesting a no-CD patch does not result in it immediately being released. You can ask for it every day, still it may not be available for many months, who knows... And you can rest assured, if it _does_ get released, noone on GCW will hold it back from you.

Why ask then? Expect a closed thread.

To admins: See, this is exactly what I was talking about... I'm not blaming Dyreo because he was kind enough to read the forum stickies, still - from my point of view, and, I guess, you agree - his post doesn't make much sense... There really should be a very strict rule about requesting patches! <sigh>

The rules have been slightly amended to bring the two week rule back. Theres really not much we can do to force people to read the rules.
Well, a Mod Queue could be implemented, but that means more work all round. That's up to EMPiRE though.

Hi BountyWarrior,

You see, the "two weeks" is not always two weeks, it can sometimes be much more, like in the case of games protected by Starforce 3. And then we have to read requests on and on for _several months_... ARGH!

I know, but like I said, theres not a lot that can be done unless EMPiRE chooses to put a Mod Queue in place (Which I'm sure is possible on this board). New/0 Posters will post before searching 99% of the time, having a Mod Queue in place will allow us to stop such repetitive posts/threads getting through.

The Starforce 3 Protection has not helped much on this board in recent months either.
