What is this error of Splinter cell?????
I havejust installed Splinter cell and when I run it I get the following message, " general protection fault". Why is this?????
What do I have to do to play the game??????? |

You can try changing the Splintercelluser.ini (something like that) file in the system directory. Change the resolution setting to 800x600 (or if it's at 800x600 already, then try 640x480 - i forget which is the default).
This works for some - didn't work for me - my friend was able to run the game using an ATI Radeon 128Mb card, so I think it's a graphics card issue.

You probarly know this but ill post it just incase Make sure you have the new drivers for your graphics card. I have a freind who was trying to play this game a with a TNT and he has same probs as you

I have the full game but I can finally play it. I downloaded the latest nvidia driver for my geforce 2 and it works perfectly
