use a good brand of cdr like verbatim or sony. try to burn at 1 speed.

This chip will play DVD-R correctly, is that right? I think I'll get this chip since I can't get any response out of some suppliers on this forum, and I know a few places to get the non-solder chip for the V5. Thanks.

Again, this mod works perfect for compact disc games backed up to cd-r media as well as dvd games backed up to dvd-r media. dvd games ripped to cdr that are over 640mb do not work well.
