Okay, this is odd now ...
I deinstalled and after a reboot reinstalled from my recorder. It does NOT run! Inserting the backup-cd in my pioneer105 dvd-drive makes it run perfectly. Very strange I think. Can anyone out there, owning a pioneer A05/105, confirm this maybe? My idea is that the dvd-drive provides information about the cd-rom which confuses the protection routine and thus grants access to the game.
