Black & White copied 100% with MitsumiTE4804 & CloneCD
Against the posting "only Phillips-based recorders can copy this game"
I made a backup with my burner and the newest clone-cd version. Installed and running from my dvd-drive pioneer 16/40x. I did not test internet play. So I like to encourage trying other burners and not posting messages like "only xxxxxbrand-based" recorders do the job. All games I burned so far worked with this great burner-I love it ;) |
sorry friend i have amitsumi 4804te and guess what my copies dont work.....hitman sacrifice alice, and black and white,,,so dont tell me they work. its safedisk2 so i used oplayback to patch,,thats the only way they work.

This is a very interesting behavior ...
I wonder why does the game work then? Maybe the pioneer-drive is the reason? My clone-CD settings are: subchannel data read ##### subchannel audio read ##### quick error.... #####, with options "reread 1x/no error correction" laserpower calib. ##### wait for buffer ##### close last session always ##### un##### the other options in read/write translated from german to english, so no correct form fact is ... it works here, so anyone may try if that pioneer105/recorder combination makes the copies work without any needed cracking. |
i've got the mitsumi 4804te too, and i tried to copy b&w german version with clone cd 2.8.4.3. my question: which cd-writer bios do you have??? i've got 3.0d.
and have you tried to run b&w in your recorder? plzz tell me...! thx |
Okay, this is odd now ...
I deinstalled and after a reboot reinstalled from my recorder. It does NOT run! Inserting the backup-cd in my pioneer105 dvd-drive makes it run perfectly. Very strange I think. Can anyone out there, owning a pioneer A05/105, confirm this maybe? My idea is that the dvd-drive provides information about the cd-rom which confuses the protection routine and thus grants access to the game. |
