A Modchip is easier...just put the game in and play, but if its a new console you will invalidate your warrenty...

Bootdiscs don't invalidate your warrenty, but are a little more hassle, boot up with the bootdisc remove bootdisc insert copied game and start.. some games even need a second bootdisc to disable anti-AR (bootdisc) protection that's 2 changes...

Both will cost about the same price (unless your just buying the chip and installing it yourself) both will play copied games......

both have their disadvantages and advantages..a tough choice.....
