Modchip or bootdisk
Is there a better choice.
|
A Modchip is easier...just put the game in and play, but if its a new console you will invalidate your warrenty...
Bootdiscs don't invalidate your warrenty, but are a little more hassle, boot up with the bootdisc remove bootdisc insert copied game and start.. some games even need a second bootdisc to disable anti-AR (bootdisc) protection that's 2 changes... Both will cost about the same price (unless your just buying the chip and installing it yourself) both will play copied games...... both have their disadvantages and advantages..a tough choice..... |
If using a PSX-change you always run the risk of it getting scratched or damaged. to me a modchip is the best way to go
|
If you trust the person doing the soldiering then get the mod-chip, I prefer the Exchange CD for my ###ne as there are to many small parts to worry about, any older Playstation I'd have modded.

mod-chip is the best way with boot disc you may have probs with 2 disc games
|
what about the plug and play modchip? Is that better or worse than the soder one?
