Totally ripping speech files is not acceptable for me as it ruins the gameplay (at least in my opinion).

will do a separate Conversion but final size will be around 3Gb.
But I couldn't careless about the game because it's old.

I didn't do anything with sound, there is a file on the internet which makes this possible that's all.
