It's been a while since the last time I played this game... Conversion itself is interesting (Whole DVD game to a simple CD). I am just interested

you can't hear speeches or what are people saying in the game from the start till the end of the game. but you can hear car sounds and etc, radio music has been removed.
I just compressed the audio folder which is 3.24gb to 62mb, it's part of the conversion, no wonder it's huge. ~ 80mb. |
Conversion Updated
What's new

You know... You enter a room, a guy comes in, you talk a bit, he tells you what needs to be done and you go to do the quest. That stuff... |
you must enable subtitles.
|
Well, that sucks... (No offense :D)
Ripping Radio files can be acceptable as it does not have big impact on the game. You can simply copy some of your own music into the game's folder and the tunes will play when you enter a vehicle... Totally ripping speech files is not acceptable for me as it ruins the gameplay (at least in my opinion). Can you make some type of optional settings to the conversion? So that people can chose whether or not they want to remove the sound files? |
excellent conversions (MAH) if you also clarify the method used for compressing audio etc. .. many other less good would learn new code> or not
