No. My conversion is 2xDVD9 to 1xDVD9. There are various other DVD5 conversions around here, though.

Dvd name can be anything you like with my conversion, just create an entry in autorun.inf via notepad that looks like this:

Code:
Label=Dead Space 2

I know the thread is rather old, but I'm trying to convert DS2 on 1xDVD9.
Everything is alright, it installs fine from the HDD Directory where the files are temporarily stored, (with placeholders for the fr movies and removed ds2dat files) but as soon as I burn to ISO and install from there the installer asks for the second DVD during installation...

Could you perhaps share your autorun.dat for your 2xDVD9 to 1xDVD9 Conversion?

(Ive tried to edit the autorun.dat myself using ORCA but that just corrupts the file and then I can't even install from HDD anymore. :-( )

first off look in the autorun.inf file for label=bla bla bla.... does it evven have one? AND did you use same label for ISO as temp HDD storage ?
secondly off what languages does your DS2 include?

NEVER burn to disk, before testing install/uninstall that way if errors come up you havent wasted a dvd. Mount the ISO & test it from there to install / uninstall & oncehat works THEN burn the dvds.
