The alternatives. So many.You can buy a permit from a trader for a future dirty favor. And there is a third way.

ah well that is the thing that is not i option, at the beginning the guy that is sitting on a bench at the farm gave me a pass to get in the town, and then i just killed him

Its true its part of the game, by doing that you get in cheaply, and you dont have to do the dirty favor quest line which could be bad for you.

Or you can pay a guard on the opposite entrance to look the other way.
