Try to install RAD Video Tools and copy binkw32.dll from its dir to the dir of game. But reinstall should help...

Thanks for all the pointers guys,but whatever I seem to do,the problem won't go away. Nothings changing...

Try Sysinternals' ProcMon to see where the game searches for the DLL (and then doesn't find it).

Thats no use, as it has been known for copy protections to use an amended binkw32.dll for protection use also.
