Well it does if media is damaged, the CD/DVD drive/OS/software setup isn't "compatible" or if a user is running anything that the CD-check deems to be "
subversive".

Unfortunately, Alcohol 120% (and Daemon Tools) requires online activation - using it to bypass a CD check is, as far as I'm concerned, a bit like choosing to swallow a knife to cure a sore throat.

Otherwise I'd have purchased Daemon Tools a long time ago.
