You don't install YASU, you just start it.
You also don't need SecuROM emulation unless you are using a RMPS copy and then you won't need YASU.

Hey I'm just tryin' to make a simple post about what I did to get it to work since people are asking.

Since you have to download Y.A.S.U., extract (unpack) it form the zip file that it comes downloaded it and then move it to your D-Tools folder. You are doing exactly what the dictionary and encyclopedia consider "installing". So yes, you do "install" it based on the English definition of the word install. As for not needing SecuROM emulation enabled in Daemon Tools, you are correct. I just tried it with all emulation options off and it works this way as well.
