That does sound weird.

Your system is nice and is able to run TS2.

There is a slight chance your rig is shutting down the programs quickly, too quickly for it to be flushed from the memory correctly. And this could be causing a BSOD.

Is it only TS2 that this does it with?

ya.....
it only happens with ts2.

rest of the games r running fine....

only ts2 crashes 2 BSOD and then i have 2 restart the system...

i thought multicore was the problem, as there was same prob in sand of time

but when i ran the prog in single core 2, same prob is there... where as

sand of time started working perfectly.... when single core was selected..

thanx

Ahhh that sheds more light on the matter.

Looks like you have a bad RAM stick.

The best thing to do here is to shut down your PC take the side casing off, and remove one of your 1GB sticks. And restart the computer with just 1GB.

Play the game, if it does it again, shut down and swap the RAM you removed with the one inside your PC, and try with that stick of RAM. Then play the game again, if it doesnt happen again then you found your good stick of RAM and your bad.

The OP could also remove one of the memory sticks and then run an overnight test with Memtest86+. Then swap sticks and run another overnight test.
