That does sound weird.

Your system is nice and is able to run TS2.

There is a slight chance your rig is shutting down the programs quickly, too quickly for it to be flushed from the memory correctly. And this could be causing a BSOD.

Is it only TS2 that this does it with?

angel-TDw! 17-11-2007 20:41

ya.....
it only happens with ts2.

rest of the games r running fine....

only ts2 crashes 2 BSOD and then i have 2 restart the system...

i thought multicore was the problem, as there was same prob in sand of time

but when i ran the prog in single core 2, same prob is there... where as

sand of time started working perfectly.... when single core was selected..

Ahhh that sheds more light on the matter.

Looks like you have a bad RAM stick.

The best thing to do here is to shut down your PC take the side casing off, and remove one of your 1GB sticks. And restart the computer with just 1GB.

Play the game, if it does it again, shut down and swap the RAM you removed with the one inside your PC, and try with that stick of RAM. Then play the game again, if it doesnt happen again then you found your good stick of RAM and your bad.

The OP could also remove one of the memory sticks and then run an overnight test with Memtest86+. Then swap sticks and run another overnight test.

hey bro..
re-checked it again...
1 ram was faulty..... while ran memtest 4 13hrs on the 2nd ram....
and no errors.... so i think the 2nd ram is ok...

but then when i started the game,,same old BSOD....
so i think its not the ram now..but th egame will try with the original
today.... or the mini-image...... and post the results...

by the way now i m getting error: 0x0000c2 (0x00000040, ...........
adn the sys restarts...automatically so i couldnt read the entire error msg.

To keep BSOD's on the screen, go to Control Panel, enter System (classic view)... this opens the System Properties window. Go to the Advanced tab, press Settings in the Startup and Recovery frame and disable Automatic restart in the System failure frame. Press a few OK's.

I assure you, though, the error message will be completely meaningless for all of us... ;)

angel-TDw! 24-11-2007 21:45

ya bro...got it....

thans y now tryin with the original...

so that i can knopw whether the game has the prob or the system...

hey bros....

the game still crashes ......

same error: 0x000000c2

Have you installed all AMD-drivers and chipset drivers?

Joe Forster/STA 25-11-2007 02:39

Well... I got major problems with the nVidias nForce 1/2 chipset 5.10/5.11 drivers (it's somewhere on this forum) so I downgraded to the 4.x release. Thought this might help...

angel-TDw! 25-11-2007 02:59

on 1 forum i alos found that the game clashes with zonealarm.
so now ill try 2 exit the firewall,,before i start the game and c....

then ill try ur step

thanx
