Hello, this message is only to let you all to know that I noticed that with the "reloaded" fix no-cd, the game only works when the ethernet cable is connected to a working router... even if without an internet connection.
In other words, the "fixed" game can load a new game (or a saved game) only when your LAN cable is connected to a powered router (may be to a modem too, but I don't know). Please note that the router doesn't need to be connected to internet. ![]() (After the game has loaded you can power off your router, but if you have to load again a previous saved game, you have to power on your router again..) I experienced this with two differents computers, with WinXP and Vista. Hope this message can be useful... may be a new version of the "fix" will be expected... |
