That was NOT a correct fix for you my friend.
The one main reason why its not working with your original is quite possibly. 1. The disc is defected or warped in production. 2. Your CD-rom/DVD-rom etc is damaged and is not reading discs properly. Using a crack is a temporary solution, but what happens when you cant install anything. If you have another drive you can try with your machine then try it to eliminate if its your drive causing problems or not.
