It does not surprise me to hear that some brainiac(s) are hard at work to make Vista only DirectX10 games work for XP DX9. I am also not surprised to hear all of this negative talk about Vista. I have been using Microsoft's OS since 1994; and it has always been the same scenario. Those of you looking for a DX10 video card; go to http://www.nvidia.com/content/wheret...RYPRODUCT_0=75
I found a GeForce 8500 DX10 card for about $85 from TigerDirect; all of GeForce 8xxx are DX10. Unfortunately, they are only PCI-Express.
