sidney, seeing as my friends grandpa has a 12 hard drive comp, I dnt think it is a scam. I also have a comp that allowed me tohave a second hard drive, ,main hard drive, and a disc drive. The cable has 4 hook ups, three to drives, and one to motherboard, so i dnt think a five device ata cable is far fetched

IDE devices allow for only two settings, Master and Slave.
CS wont help either as the BIOS in ALL pcs only allow for Master and Slave devices on any single IDE port. Scam.
