Nope, it is the publisher that pushes the software onto the market as soon as possible. For the developer's, the software is their child; do you think they like a premature birth, with all the usual complications?!

Sorry, DOOM had quite a couple of patches, mainly with online play and modem configuration. Actually, bugfree releases go back into the days when there was no way to patch games because A) there was no Internet, or any easy-to-access world wide network from which any user could get any patch for any game or B) the game was/is run from a read-only media. That's microcomputers in the 80's (don't wanna mention names because I am majorly biased: visit my homepage ) and, of course, all kinds of consoles (even today).

Ah, thnx for clarifying that, i am still pissed tho, when i play a game i like to go all out and explore every part, just knowing that it is not complete takes away the urge to click on the nwn2 icon .... altho now i am pissed at the developers for letting the publishers push them around like that

this patch was not made to incourage piracy, i own an original copy and there is no reason you should not either.

uhm, who said i play gothic 3 ? , i may have explored gothic world a bit, but i never said i play it. And besides, atleast the gothic dev's are fixing and continueing work on gothic 3, nwn2 dev's made it clear that that part of the game will stay incomplete. you will probly find that some modding community will finnish that part of the game in the end....

My actual post is not about thread subject, but I must write it. I passed Gothic 3 game on ray crack So it is pretty good in my opinion =] I know now 2/3 endings ^^ Now last one... Beliar ending! ]:-> And I have to tell you that not so much things are bugged. Invincible when using inventory is very usefull :P Only one bug is when you close it and try to take up a weapon and something attacks you then you can not do it or you will take weapon and you can not use it o_O So you must take it second time... Sry for such useless post, but I had to tell it. Wish my luck with third ending Now Medieval Total War II playing in progress :P

Woot! Great Collection! Hey, and you even provide a patch for Doom
And I see you are/have been quite attached to the C64, too...well, although I was only playing games instead of writing programs :P
