Just put those .dlls in your gothic 3 directory with the 1.7 .exe no cd patch. It works for me, someone else lemme know if its working for them. So to recap

1. Download these http://www.gothic-3.ru/files/Gothic3_noCD_1.8.rar
2. Extract the .dlls to your gothic 3 directory
3. Use the 1.7 NOCD .exe

I've scanned these with 2 different virus scanners. Someone else please scan them to make sure their clean. Welcome

thx and respect for this finding. but I ran the game and experienced all those problems I had earler. Now I understand why Razor don't wanna make any actions with this version of G3... My piece of advice to all of you: wait for NORMAL game. You'll be only disappointed playing this shit...

Hm, well it works, ok, but I don't think the Patch is actually applied...Well, I still suffer from the Ambient-Sound-Bug (Stuttering) which is said to be fixed in the v1.08. And without the Crack, but 1.08 applied my Game won't even start. And with the above instruction it does...Hm, not so sure about that (<-working). But at least I don't have to reinstall again to play it :P

patch is same shit, just razor crack stuff, and 1.07 no-cd, effectively using it will make the game 1.07.. did noone else check this? ;p

You're right, but where's result of all other stuff? Look at the 1.8 patch's size and then find out the size of these files (remaining of 1.7). The last is just a small part of all the files that should had been replaced. Nope. 1.8 patch is not what we're expecting for.

without the 1.8 exe file the patch is useless. so you can't patch the game, then play with 1.7 exe file. you can, but most of the fixes won't be applied. So basicly you may as well play with 1.7 patch. or wait for a proper crack.

Well, I'm gonna reinstall and play from the beginning with the 1.07 Patch
For some freakin reason the DVD won't work with the new patch...

AFAIK 1.09 atm is only beta..

yup, and now that they finished the demo they might work on another patch. It is ridiculous how many patches come out for games these days. Release-Patches, c'mon! Publishers are selling sh*t to us, well, nothing new, but this year it is much worse than usual.

The Ambient Noise isn't working anymore, don't know why, it worked for a while. after applying 1.08, even though it wasn't meant to fix the Soundbug...
