You can't install EURO FORCE without having the game at V1.2 and you can't install ARMORED FURY without the game at V1.3 !!!
That's the reason why i told him to install the V1.2 + V1.3 !!!

I havent tried it but what about:

Install BF2
Install 1.4 FULL.

Install SF
Install Euro Forces (if you have it)
Install Armored Fury (if you have it)

Should work.

At the end you have to apply the V1.4 Update again, because it contains also updates for EF & AF !!!

Ok. It was just a thought as I havent had to reinstall at all.
