Battlefield 2 Special Forces HELP ME PLZ
 

I recently downloaded a No-DVD/Fixed image for BF2 SF and mounted it, but now when I start the game this message appears:

"Error! mods/bf2/shaders/lightning.fx not found!!!_DO_ check your working directory,_AND_sync your shaders folder before calling upon your local rendering programmer/GP (really!)"

BF2 still works fine, but BF2 SF shows that message everytime I try and play!
PLEASE HELP!!!

It seems you need to reinstall the game (complete).
You have to do this in the correct order:
BF2 >> BF2:SF >> Patch V1.2 >> EuroForce >> Patch V1.3 >> Armored Fury >> Patch V1.4
Then download the mini image by BLeH! from HERE (from 23-06-2005) and mount it in Alcohol 120% or DaemonTools.

Have Fun!

do like this instead:
Install BF2
Install SF
Install Euro Forces (if you have it)
Install Armored Fury (if you have it)

install 1.4 FULL.

Thats the best way. If you don't have euro forces jump to armored fury and so on.

Install 1.4 last and skip the patches in between unless you are forced too.

You can't install EURO FORCE without having the game at V1.2 and you can't install ARMORED FURY without the game at V1.3 !!!
That's the reason why i told him to install the V1.2 + V1.3 !!!

I havent tried it but what about:

Install BF2
Install 1.4 FULL.

Install SF
Install Euro Forces (if you have it)
Install Armored Fury (if you have it)

Should work. ;)

At the end you have to apply the V1.4 Update again, because it contains also updates for EF & AF !!! :)

Ok. It was just a thought as I havent had to reinstall at all. ;)
