When you update the drivers you will have to update the motherboard drivers and whatelse is left also.
Why its loading and then dying on you could be a driver issue but it could be that the protection failed to read the disc. Also remember to update the game also. And to use the latest no-cd, to check if the protection is indeed the culprit.

sorry took so long to get back
ok i did the updates ... and still the same problem .. i also took it round to a friends house to put on his computer .. and the same problem there aswell .... eagames wont e-mail me back anymore .. and walmart wont take it back .. they still say that we have to go through eagames ... so i think i am stuck with a game that wont work
