yep it´s the SmartE wrapper + simple disc check.
btw... for me it works even if i make a backup with nero (burn as data cd).

but even I can tell you this is a bit more than a simple CD check

not really much more it can be done in olly debug by using a backup cd, just trace to the OEP and dump.
