You have to finalize the dvd in your recorder to be able to play it on another dvd-player.

Ahh yes, I had forgotten about the finalization, possibly the single most important point.

it was the finaliziation i needed to do
but now when i put it to disk either from my pc or if i record direct to disk from sky it starts to skip a second it does this all the way thru the movie
but i noticed it does not do it if i don't finalize the disk but i need to finalize it so i can watch the movie in a different room can any1 please help thanks.
