dvd recorders
 

hi i have a dvd recorder but i can't play the dvd on another make of dvd player i have in my bed room is there any dvd recorders that i can record on2 disk then play on my dvd player in my bedroom.any help will b appreciated thanks.

The problem is not with the actual recorder it is more than likely a problem with the player or even with the discs you are using!
The more expensive players sometimes dont like recordable media.
I find the more expensive players dont play all burnt discs but the cheaper players will play most files and or discs.

You have to finalize the dvd in your recorder to be able to play it on another dvd-player.

Ahh yes, I had forgotten about the finalization, possibly the single most important point. ;)

it was the finaliziation i needed to do
but now when i put it to disk either from my pc or if i record direct to disk from sky it starts to skip a second it does this all the way thru the movie
but i noticed it does not do it if i don't finalize the disk but i need to finalize it so i can watch the movie in a different room can any1 please help thanks.
