it is definitly 1.04 dressed as 1.07 as when you try and join 1.07 servers it just tells you that the server is newer than the client and doesent let you connect.

@phil8900: If someone on IRC is yanking yer chain then it's your fault for believing them! If they doctored the EXE's and put your name in some of them then you've been suckered good and proper!!
Maybe it is a conspiracy against Carbon and yourself?
