I whole-heartedly agree that modchips are the best method of running backups. What I need to know is if theres anything I can do to get my game going again...

I had the same with Chase the Express [J] but i was able to overwrite save from the same plase of the game with another cheater. Use another cheat machine and try again or try from start and beat 1st cd with 10 h :]

try this
put in any original, then hold down the lid senser, the disc will spin slowly then speed up, when the disc speeds up (with out touching the lid senser) take the original out of the psx and put the backup in the psx and it should play. i used to do on my un-modded psone
