Problem with PSX Backup of Multiple Disc Game
Hi i'm playing a backup copy of Lunar2: Eternal Blue for PSX. I've been booting it via a gameshark disc/swap method on an un-modded PSOne (the newer small, white version of PSX). My question is this...
I've played through the first disc of the game. At the end of the first disc it doesn't ask you to save before swapping discs. I am saved before the end of the first disc but when I play to the end of the first disc it says "please insert disc 2." I tried swapping disc 2 in using a swap method and booting disc2 from my previous save file and neither works. Is there anything I can do or did i just waste 15 hours playing through the first disc? |
One reason why modchips are better than gamesharks

I whole-heartedly agree that modchips are the best method of running backups. What I need to know is if theres anything I can do to get my game going again...

I had the same with Chase the Express [J] but i was able to overwrite save from the same plase of the game with another cheater. Use another cheat machine and try again or try from start and beat 1st cd with 10 h :]

try this
put in any original, then hold down the lid senser, the disc will spin slowly then speed up, when the disc speeds up (with out touching the lid senser) take the original out of the psx and put the backup in the psx and it should play. i used to do on my un-modded psone |
Thanks snake2, I had thought about it logically and done exactly that earlier this afternoon and got it to work somehow. I just came back to see if anyone had actually replied... Hahaha well thanks a lot anyway, back to my game!
