The fixed game.dat does not work on every computer - I do not know why! I have the german DVD version - I need the Image file. With the fixed game.dat file I had the same problem: just start a match and after 5 Minutes all my mans are died and buildings crashed.
Now I use the fixed maxi image and all workes fine - even after two hours without any crash . . . Greetings, Sascha
